The Savannah College of Art and Design awards a variety of scholarships to entering new students. All applicants who complete the admission process by the priority deadline are automatically considered for academic scholarships. Scholarship amounts range from a few hundred dollars per year to full tuition and are renewable as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 grade point average while enrolled at SCAD.
Scholarship recipients are expected to be particularly strong and positive leaders at SCAD, excelling academically and representing the university well within the community. Scholarships are available to both United States citizens and international students and are awarded to entering students prior to first-quarter attendance.
