The program emphasizes professional advertising practice; undergraduate and graduate coursework often involves real clients. Coursework includes print advertising design, multimedia/interactive applications and broadcast media, including radio and television, advertising strategies, advertising theory, and more. Field trips to potential clients, advertising agencies, and illustration and photography studios are integral to the program.
