The SCAD animation program has been ranked among the top three animation programs in North America by 3D World magazine.

Industry-standard Tools
Including After Effects, Premiere, Flipbook, Flash and Dreamweaver; Autodesk Maya; Anime Studio; Apple Shake; and Pixar RenderMan. School of Film and Digital Media resources also include a Vicon motion capture system.

Legendary animator Gary Goldman, best known for his work on such animated classics as “The Secret of N.I.M.H.” (1982) and “All Dogs Go To Heaven” (1989), and the video games “Dragon’s Lair” (1983) and “Space Ace” (1983), will join SCAD as artist-in-residence, teaching traditional 2-D animation.
