Awards and Recognition
SCAD, professor Matthew Dudzik, architectureArchitecture professor Matthew Dudzik was awarded $5,000 for a Summer Presidential Fellowship for Faculty Development. Dudzik will use the photographic lens as the method of comparative visual analysis for how architecture relates to the complex spatial, social and class relations in São Paulo, Brazil. This examination has immense potential to contribute to a cultural, social and anthropological approach to architecture, an aspect often overlooked by designers.
