The Savannah College of Art and Design work-study program helps students find jobs on campus. In order to be eligible to participate in the work-study program, students must be enrolled in at least three classes, have a 2.0 cumulative GPA, maintain good academic standing and have an unmet financial need as determined by the SCAD office of financial aid.

The Student Employment Office serves as the hub for all student employee placements on campus. Students are required to visit the student employment office each quarter (including the breaks) to verify their eligibility status prior to working.

Part-time or Freelance Work
Students who do not qualify for the college work-study program may pursue other work.

One position available, federal only. Student will assist with developing several mini-apps based on Flash for use in various widget frameworks, such as Google Gadgets and WidgetBox.com. These will involve programming via ActionScript and possibly JavaScript to provide interaction and content updates through a Flash UI. Successful candidate will provide visual designs to support our branding guidelines, as well as UI design, interaction designs, programming of Flash ActionScript, integration into widget frameworks and other tasks associated with developing a complete project from beginning to end. Student will work in a team environment but also will be the primary developer for several interactive Flash products.
