Connector logoThe Connector
The Connector is an editorially independent weekly newspaper published by and for SCAD students in Atlanta. In Fall 2005, SCAD-Atlanta students began producing The Connector as a special section of Savannah's award-winning student paper, District. The paper took its name from the college's bustling location at the crossing of Atlanta's two major highways, as well as the connection it provided students in both SCAD locations. In 2007, The Connector launched as a separate publication serving the SCAD-Atlanta student body. The paper is available free of charge in all college buildings in Atlanta, as well as online to the SCAD community and beyond.

The Connector includes news, editorials, cartoons, a local events and entertainment calendar, and music, movie, theater, art and restaurant reviews. The Connector is a member of the Associated Collegiate Press and the Georgia College Press Association.
