SCAD is a member of the Sloan Consortium of institutions committed to providing quality online instruction, and all SCAD eLearning courses adhere to the same standards as on-site course offerings.
2. A well-respected degree from an accredited institution
SCAD, including eLearning, is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's and master's degrees. SCAD eLearning builds on the university's commitment to academic excellence, technology integration and 21st-century design practices. After meeting program completion requirements, eLearning students earn a SCAD degree, with no distinction made between degree requirements met on campus or online.

Seventy-five percent of SCAD faculty hold terminal degrees.
