Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Pei-Jung (P.J.) Chen is a contemporary metalsmith whose work often invites viewers to interact with it. She has multiple academic backgrounds including industrial engineering management, graphic design, and metals and jewelry. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in the United States and Taiwan. After working in the jewelry industry for three years, she joined the SCAD faculty in 2004.

Lanelle Keyes joined the SCAD metals and jewelry department in 1999 and has taught numerous courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her work has been exhibited in regional and national venues and she has served on numerous academic committees. She is active in the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), and served as co-chair for the 2008 SNAG National Conference.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Susan Kim brings more than 10 years of design and product development experience in the jewelry and watch industries. She served as senior product manager of Diesel Jewelry at Fossil and launched her own handbag company, Samantha Kim Inc., which retailed in various boutiques in Chicago, New York and San Francisco, including Marshall Field's. Earlier in her career, her One-of-a-kind Jewelry line was represented by Sienna Gallery and JewelersWerk Galerie, and has exhibited at SOFA New York and Chicago through these galleries. Awards:

Bonnie Kubasta has served in both teaching and administrative capacities at SCAD during the past 15 years. She has been a professor of metals and jewelry, as well as department chair and the dean of the School of Design. As a senior faculty member she has mentored other faculty and focuses on refining teaching practices to improve the delivery of instruction. Her interest in metals and jewelry has its foundation in studio process. This approach allows her to bridge the thematic realm of beauty in the intangible and ordinary, producing a variety of work that ranges in scope from one-of-a-kind art jewelry to installation. Her work is included in the permanent collections of Price Waterhouse Coopers and SCAD.

Jay Song was born and raised in Tae Jeon, South Korea, and has been a metals and jewelry professor at SCAD since 1999. She has exhibited work throughout the United States, including the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tenn.; the SOFA Exhibition in Chicago, Ill., and New York City; Taboo Studio in San Diego, Calif.; Aaron Faber in New York City; Sculpture to Wear in Santa Monica, Calif.; Yaw Gallery in Birmingham, Mich.; and Craft Alliance Gallery in St. Louis, Mo. Her works have been published in Metalsmith magazine, as well as a Lark Publication book, "The Ring." She was a visiting artist at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and was exhibition chair for the 2008 Society of North American Goldsmiths conference.
