SCAD graduates are in demand at the United States' most recognized companies. Each year, more than 175 companies and organizations visit SCAD to meet and recruit our students and alumni. More than eight out of 10 SCAD 2008 alumni surveyed had been placed in jobs in their fields or had been admitted to graduate school within six months of graduation.

Recognition

John Fulton is finalist for Surface magazine
SCAD photography student John Michael Fulton was chosen as a top ten finalist by Surface magazine. His photo spread will be featured in the Avant Guardian issue, on newsstands soon.
Students, alumna enter Disney College Program
The following students are entering the Disney College Program this fall: undergraduate photography student Laura Garrett; Christa Newman (B.F.A., animation, 2009); undergraduate fashion student Victoria Pitt; undergraduate fashion marketing and management student Jennifer Stewart; and undergraduate performing arts student John Wells.
Cosgrove will be Southern Progress intern
Undergraduate photography student Chris Cosgrove will be a fall photo intern at Southern Progress, publishers of Coastal Living, Health, Cooking Light and more.
Jim Lind received a Target grant
Undergraduate photography student Jim Lind received a Target Corporation Professional Development Grant from the career services office in Spring 2009, which he used to enter the Photoshop Competition. He received an honorable mention and a merit award for photo illustration.
