Bee Line

SCAD offers free, 24/7, regularly scheduled bus service between open college buildings and residence halls during academic quarters. This service is available to all registered SCAD students, faculty and staff. Expanded service is offered during midterms and finals.

Service hours:
Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): 6 a.m. - midnight
Weekends (Friday-Sunday): 7 a.m. - midnight
All night (Monday-Sunday): midnight - 6 a.m.

Academic Routes

• The Green Line/Central Route services Turner House, Crites Hall, Eichberg Hall, Oglethorpe House, Poetter Hall and Boundary Hall.
• The Orange Line/South Route services Turner House, Oglethorpe House, Anderson Hall, Wallin Hall, Arnold Hall and Eckburg Hall.
• The Blue Line/North A Route services Turner House, Oglethorpe House, Habersham Hall, Gordon Hall, Norris Hall and Corbin Hall.
• The Purple Line/North B Route services Turner House, Oglethorpe House, Hamilton Hall, Adler Hall, Alexander Hall, Fahm Hall and Bergen Hall.
• The Yellow Line/South-Central Route services Turner House, Oglethorpe House, Pulaski House, Forsyth House, Barnard Village, Montgomery Hall and Gulfstream Center.
  

Residence Hall Route
The Residence Hall Route services all residence halls as well as Jen Library, York Hall, the Minor Illness Health Clinic and the Student Center.

Arnold Express
The Arnold Express runs Monday-Thursday, and departs from Turner House at 7:20 a.m., 7:30 a.m., &:40 a.m., 7:50 a.m., 8 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 10:50 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:20 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 1:40 p.m., 1:50 p.m., 2 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 4:50 p.m. and 5 p.m. The ride is approximately 10 minutes.

All-night Routes
The Bee Line All-night Routes offer continuing service to and from open SCAD buildings every night, midnight to 6 a.m. Facilities include all residence halls, Alexander Hall, Eichberg Hall, Gulfstream and Montgomery Hall.

Weekend Routes
The Bee Line offers weekend schedules of the Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow Lines, Friday-Sunday, to and from open academic facilities during their hours of operation.

Shopping Route
The Bee Line offers a Shopping Route on Fridays and Saturdays that picks up and drops off students at residence halls. Stops include: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Lowe's, Home Depot, Oglethorpe Mall, and Savannah Mall, which includes Target and movie theaters.

Airport, Train Station and Bus Station Transportation
Airport, bus and train station pick-up and drop-off is available to SCAD faculty, staff and students. The service is offered for two days prior to the start of each quarter and for the final three days of each quarter, as well as the day of Commencement.

• Saturday and Sunday immediately prior to the beginning of the quarter: 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Final Wednesday of the quarter: noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Final Thursday of the quarter: 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Final Friday of the quarter: 4 a.m., 6 a.m., 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
• Commencement Saturday: 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  

Medical Transports
In emergency situations, students should call 911and also notify college security at 912.525.4500. All medical emergency transports are provided by EMS ambulance service. This service is required in any situation where emergency treatment by a paramedic is necessary.

Red Eye Ride

Are you a SCAD student who lives off-campus and has been working late in a SCAD building? You can get a free ride home on the off-campus Red Eye Ride, midnight-6 a.m.

Call 912.525.RIDE and within an hour a college security officer will pick you up from an open SCAD academic building to take you to your off-campus residence (in downtown or midtown Savannah).

Yellow Cab Taxi Service
Yellow Cab Taxi Service offers discounted fares for SCAD students, and accepts cash, credit cards and SCAD Cards. Please note: if you intend to deduct fare from your SCAD Card you must have your SCAD ID card with you. To be directly connected to Yellow Cab, call 525.RIDE.
